Mommy's Little Helper
Somebody turned one...
Mommy and Daddy cannot believe it happened, but somehow Cooper turned one today! He is such a little man now. We made him his favorite meal - fajitas with mexican rice and black beans. What child doesn't top it off with Sprinkle's red velvet cupcake? The Kettler Tricycle did not even stack up to the cupcake! Happy Birthday to the best boy in the world!

AnaB Turns One!!!
Our favorite gal turned one December 27th and her Mommy and Daddy had a cowgirl party for her last weekend. C enjoyed himself (even with one nap for the day) and celebrated the big 1 with AnaB. Happy Birthday Anabelle - we love you!
Cooper and Cooper Together!
We finally got the Cooper's together. I know a lot of you have heard me talk about my dear friend Judie and her adorable boys. We met because she had a little one named Cooper in the infant class at Carpe Diem. He is 15 months older than our Cooper and we know they are going to be the best of friends! His big brother is just as cute, Jack and such a sweet boy! Thanks for the invite over for make your own pizza night - we had a blast!

We had to get tubes!
As most of you know, Coop had to get tubes put in both ears this morning! He was such a trooper and the only time he really cried (even coming out of sedation) was when he dropped a toy on his foot. I think it was tougher on Mommy than it was on him. No more nasty ear infections and yucky medicine. Since it was 75 degrees, we decided to head out and get some fresh air - check our new truck from Santa!
C's First Christmas!!!
What a fantastic holiday! Christmas is amazing through the eyes of a child (even at 11 months). This was a special Christmas for my family because Larry and my mom got married this year and we got to celebrate as a family with all six kids, significant others, Cooper and all the puppies. We had a blast and Cooper thought it was the greatest day of his life. I think he was a little overwhelmed with all the madness and presents!!
Waiting for Santa...
C got to put some of Nana's famous cookies and milk out for Santa to nibble on when he came to visit. He could not quite grasp the concept that he was not supposed to nibble on them!
Visiting Santa...
After much procrastination, Mommy and Daddy finally took Coop to meet the jolly old man, aka Santa Claus on Christmas Eve at 4pm. We went to the mall close to Nana's to save time (we think Santa is missing a few teeth - but o'well). Needless to say, C put his arms back out for Santa to hold him again after we took him off his lap. I think it was a hit!
KK brought us some Christmas Goodies...
Aunt Kathy (Cooper's Godmother and one of my bestfriends) or KK (as we like to call her) came over right before she left for the holidays and brought Cooper two fabulous gifts. I told her she could have wrapped an empty box and he would have been happy. C is so lucky to have her in his life!
Christmas in Houston
Cooper is lucky! He gets to have TWO Christmas's every year! We headed down the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with our family in Houston. It was a tough year with Granddaddy passing away and he was defintely in all of our thoughts. Cooper enjoyed celebrating with Grammy and TomTom and with all of the extended family, including his cousin Caden!
