Can I take your order...

Mommy found an exciting a new toy in Cooper's closet that she bought when he was still in her belly! Would you like fries with your shake??? The hilarious part is that Cooper has never been to McDonalds! He has to have the head set and visor on at the same time!

Where's Cooper???

My little friend has found a new hiding place - yep the dryer! He tries to be my little helper, but just seems to cause extra work! Good thing we have the oversized Electrolux dryer now!

The Ferry Ride...

There are two ways on and off Gulf Shores - either the large Ferry Boat from Dauphin Island or down Hwy 59 through Mobile. We opted for the shorter and more scenic route with the ferry ride. It was quite interesting, but C loved the seagulls! Just be sure if you ever have to ride to use the restroom before!

I was down to my white tank top due to a lot of spillage on my sweater!

Here we go!

These pics were just too cute not to post! Here is C with his new stylin hairdo ready to board his jumbo jet (or Southwest 757 as we know it) to New Orleans. He is ready to go sporting his monkey backpack!

The Boat

One afternoon, the kids (minus Cooper) and PawPaw (the captain) rented a pontoon boat and set sail for a day of fun in the sun with a little fishing, too. Lindsay caught a fish, but her line broke and Courtney caught a pretty good size catfish! I, myself, enjoyed some miller lite and good old fashion sunshine!
The girls - check out my hair!

The boys!

My stepdad, my almost brother-in-law and my stepsisters!

Lindsay and her broken line!

My cute hubby doing a little fishin!

We have a fish on our hands!

Cooper has now become part fish! He absolutely had a ball in the ocean and in the sand. He found some time to sunbathe on the beach as well as do a little body surfing in the water. The last day he got braver and braver, he would walk straight into the water till it was chest deep on him. He built some sand castles, but had more fun throwing chunks of sand on everyone! I will post more pics as I get them from the rest of the family!

Family pic - note C not wanting to be restrained

A little peek-a-boo with the beach chairs!

Get his tan on!

Hey Mom

Wow! That was a big wave!

my sweet boys!

The Shark

Gulf Shores had this really cool souvenir (sp?) shop with this entrance. C really did not know what to think of it.

Brushin our teeth...

The entire trip, all Cooper wanted to do when we were in the room was brush his teeth. I guess I can think of a lot worse things for him to be doing!

The Shaving Cream Incident!

Up until the trip, Cooper has not been a huge fan of showers, but Mommy figured out the trick - shaving cream! Boy, did he love it.

The Last Night!

Our last night in Gulf Shores, Nana and PawPaw treated the whole gang to dinner at Lulu's. It was an awesome place owned by Lucy Buffet (Jimmy Buffet's sister). The Jet Ski Killers were one hell of a drink! Cooper got a caricture done and played in the huge sand dunes. Dinner was really good, I loved the Cheeseburger in Paradise. It was a great way to end a fabulous week!

Who me???

Whoaaaa!

Happy Rider!

Storytime at School!

This is a classic shot of our "too cool for school" little guy! This is the music teacher who comes in once a day to teach them new songs and dances along with reading some books. Check out Cooper in the yellow t-shirt!

Big Shoes to Fill!

We just loved this picture! Cooper is a huge fan of trying on everyone's shoes, so when he gave PawPaw for Father's Day a new pair of kicks, he had to be the first to wear them! Before we know it, C will be wearing a size 12!

Splash Day

Carpe Diem does a splash day for the kiddos once a week throughout the summer. Cooper has been missing out since he is home with me on Thursdays, so we decided to send him this past week so he could enjoy the water with his buds! Boy did he!

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a great fourth of july! We hope everyone did, too. Here are some great pics of Mr. C eating a popsicle with his PawPaw (sharing a little, too). He had great fun in the pool all afternoon and got to do some little poppers and other firework goodies! Enjoy!
