Brent and my girl friends organized a little birthday bash at the new Benihana's for me! It was so much fun and so great to see everybody. We had a good time and got to eat some yummy chocolate cake! Can't believe I am 28!

Northpark Santa Experience!
We decided to venture out with the Sands to Northpark to visit Jolly Saint Nick and despite getting there at 11:30am, we were number 146 to see Santa. Needless to say, we did not stick around (got get the nap in), but we did get some pictures in front of the Christmas tree and Cooper and Anabelle got to listen to Storytime with Santa. We are going to try again next week to see if we can beat the rush!
Latest and Greatest of Mr. C
Here are some of the latest pictures of Mr. Cooper! We are nearing 11 months next Friday - crazy how fast the time goes. We are getting close to big first birthday bash next month!
The Big Apple!
Brent and I finally decided we were about due for a vacation! C got to stay with Nana for four whole days and we headed up to the Big Apple for a long weekend. The weather was nice and cold and we even got to see the first snow of the season! It was an exciting, but relaxing trip. Lots of shopping, more shopping, eating and drinking! We managed to pick up a few things for Mr. C at FAO Schwartz for Christmas and even saw a few celebrities - Mr. Big (aka Chris Noth from SATC), Bobby Flay, Jason Sehorn, Lance Armstrong, Al Roker and some kids from the Hotel for Dogs movie). We had a great time and highly suggest visiting during the holiday season - amazing! We came home to Cooper who had learned how to say, No, no Maddie and wave his little finger and figuring out that Santa says, ho, ho, ho!

Random 10 month pictures
Since Mommy lost our digital camera with all of Cooper's first halloween pictures, we have not had any pictures to post lately. We finally broke down after days and weeks of searching and bought a new one. Here are some fun random pictures of Mr. C - who is now 10 months old. Wow - how fast it goes!
Cooper's First Thanksgiving!
Cooper loves Thanksgiving! He had the greatest time sitting at the table with the whole family. He is such a big boy now. Mommy decided to give him a little mohawk, too! He loves Nana's cooking. He had pretty much the whole nine yards, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, roll. He is a good little eater! Happy Gobble Gobble Day!

Halloween at Gymboree
Mommy remembered my costume this time (thank god)! C had so much playing with all of his Gymboree friends in their Halloween costumes. C even left his on for a whole 20 minutes - impressive!
First Annual Wenzel/Sands Halloween Bash!
Last weekend we had the first annual Wenzel/Sands Halloween Bash at our haunted mansion! Cooper and Anabelle had fifteen friends over (WOW) and partied like they pros. All the kiddos looked super cute in their costumes (except Cooper's was kind of a bust - too big). O'well, we were the most fabulous Jetson family you have ever seen. Even Daddy dressed up (wig and all) like George Jeston! We have another costume for Halloween, so people wouldn't look at him and wonder who he was (Elroy Jeston)!
The Backyardigans
Cooper has become somewhat fond of the Backyardigans, so Mommy took him in his backyard and let him pretend like Austin and Tyronne do on the show. Quite fun...

Coopie and friends at Gymboree!
Mommy and Coopie went to Gymboree yesterday for the first time in a few weeks. Cooper loves his friends Peyton, Isabella and his buddy Callum. During the bye bye song, Mommy could not find Cooper and then finally found that he had crawled into the "ball pit." Cooper has to be the center of attention and any time there is a circle - you can guarantee that Cooper is in the middle of it!
I think Cooper has a little crush on Peyton
The whole gang is here - Peyton, Cooper, Isabella and Callum
Class picture...whoops Mommy forgot Cooper's costume

It's the great pumpkin patch Cooper Ayden!
Mommy and Daddy took Cooper to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch on Sunday (along with everyone else in the DFW metroplex). He loves crowds and even more giant wood cartoon characters and maybe a pumpkin here and there. Mommy thought she would be creative and cheesy and take some pictures in the patch, but Cooper was much more interested in dirt. Wow - Mommy has a lot to learn about baby boys! Needless to say, Cooper got his own pumpkin and helped pick out Mommy and Daddy's. He even got to taste how delicious a corny dog is!
